Over fifty percent of American journalists admit to using blogs regularly. Fifty-three percent claim to use blogs to find story ideas; 43 percent for researching facts; 36 for finding stories and 33 percent for uncovering breaking news stories.
However, only one percent of journalists questioned believe that weblogs have any credibility.
When CDs started to replace long players in the 1980s, purists grumbled that the format of traditional rock albums would be altered by the new medium.
